Dr. Yoshida grew up in Castroville, California —the artichoke capital of the world!—and started his training in veterinary medicine as a veterinary assistant throughout high school and undergrad. He graduated from CSU Fresno with a B.S. in Animal Science, emphasizing in Pre-Veterinary Medicine, and then worked for several years in biomedical research before earning his veterinary medical degree from Purdue University in 2016.
After graduation, Dr. Yoshida practiced mixed animal medicine for three and a half years up in beautiful Humboldt County before he and his wife decided to move down to the SF Bay Area to be closer to family.
In his spare time, Dr. Yoshida enjoys baking (his specialties are chocolate chip cookies and sourdough breads), practicing on his guitar, playing ice hockey, and strategizing with his wife to win cooperative board games on game nights.
