Dr. Katherine Schelble is excited to return to her hometown of Alameda and join the team at Providence Veterinary Hospital & Clinic! A proud graduate of Encinal High School (Go Jets!), Dr. Schelble earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison before pursuing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of California, Davis. After completing her studies, she began practicing in Oakland and is thrilled to now be back in the community she calls home.
When not caring for pets at the clinic, Dr. Schelble enjoys hiking with her dog, Moto, reading with her cat, Nox, and challenging herself with fun runs and the occasional attempt at surfing. She is passionate about helping local families and their beloved pets, and she looks forward to meeting you and your furry companions!
